Eric Cantor on MJ: "Joe Barton is not the issue," sez he with a smile.

Was THAT an uncomfortable interview!! To think, I almost muted the show when he came on. But that performance was SO enjoyable. Cantor kept saying that he was making an off the cuff statement...similar to a Joe Biden gaffe.

Basically, Joey Scab came back at Cantor with guns blazing. Not off the cuff, he was reading from a written statement...he said repeatedly that Joe Barton most certainly IS the issue and quoted Barton's tweet (right after his apology for the apology) "Joe Barton is right." I think Joe realizes that this is a loser for the repubs.

Poor widdle Eric...bet he was sorry he agreed to the interview...he prolly expected kid glove treatment from Scar and Mika. And the fact that the oil has reached Scar's beloved Pensacola white sand beaches didn't improve his mood...

They've decided Barton stays, and I don't know that there's anything anyone can do about it. That ticks me off.
