If Karzai is driven out of Afghanistan he will say that McChrystal's plan to win the war and prevent the terrorists from "winning" in Afghanistan was undermined by President Obama and the Democrats in Congress.

The Democrats "lost" Afghanistan and rejected General McChrystal's plan to defeat the terrorists.

That would be the campaign pitch.
