BP should be a piggy bank for anybody, anywhere who feels like they have been hurt by the oil spill.

I could absolutely care less about the reason.

The end goal should be to drive the company completely out of business.

1. "drive the company completely out of business"
because in that way only some would benefit : not all that deserve to helped.

I have to assume you've got somethng against "all"

2. No. Even BP has a limit to their financial resources
The people who have suffered the most damages- those on the Gulf coast are the ones who should receive compensation from BP. As for driving it out of business, should that happen, no one will be compensated.

3. But the people and wildlife of the Gulf Coast should get the bulk
of BP's wealth.

5. That would be easy for you to achieve
Just buy sufficient shares to vote them out at meeting. The 27% ownership in BP that JP Morgan Chase hold should be sufficient. Have you got US$30 billion or so spare at present or whould you need to have a whip round ?

9. Nice summary of most of the BP posts in GD ...
... but I suspect that the sarcasm was a trifle subtle ...
