1. Does that mean he's out from under the bus
and we can love him again?

8. pretty good episode.
I would guess 'the establishment' is twisting arms in many areas to maintain Bush programs.

Not sure how much read in the news is real though.

Although it seems there are some issues with many policies. The school reform, and what Jon mentioned about the constitutional issues. Also issues with support of right wing democrats, and some other corporate policies.

As far as people not liking that clip, it is better to be called Frodo then Gollumn, so there is that at least.

5. I love Jon Stewart! I love Keith Olbermann! I love Obama!
But I'm never going to agree with ANY of them 100% of the time. Why do some people think that just because regular fans criticize one or two little things that we are suddenly "throwing them under the bus?"

Not a very realistic approach to to life, IMHO.

6. You should go back and read some of the posts from that evening.
You may not have announced that he was dead to you but others did - just as they did with Olbermann and Maddow when they didn't like the big speech last week.

7. It's hard to believe any DUer would prefer the oration
of President Obama to those of MSNBC's icon/commentators.

I guess I've seen everything now. ;-)

10. I'm not talking about those who took issue over one opinion expressed
by Stewart, Olbermann or Maddow I'm talking about people who jumped all over them because they dared to disagree with Obama and carried on as though none of them should ever be listened to again.

11. Well, that's just it. I don't let other's decide for me.
it's true, a lot of people are a little too judgemental because of a single statement, but despite these few out-spoken people the majority of DUer's are not that way. It's obvious if you follow DU long enough and learn to ignore those "few".

15. That's because nonconstructive criticism of President Obama is OK
Because it is "dissent."

But making fun of pundits and comedians that people worship cannot be done!
