1. So far they are saying low potential for development..

but that is a lot of hot water (oil?) it's heading for...

We're expecting weather from it later this week.

2. Trouble for the Yucatan, certainly

but maybe it'll cool off the drug war that seems to be heating up around Cancun.

Generally speaking, anything that goes south of Puerto Rico heads for some part of Mexico or the Gulf. Anything that goes north ends up hitting the Atlantic coast or going out to sea.

Maybe this will just fall apart. I sincerely hope so.
