My apology to Joe Barton
Dear Mr. Barton,

I'm sorry that you find yourself living in a nation that is so abhorrent to you. I cannot imagine the pain it must cause you to know that corporations, nay your best friends, could be held to account for their incomprehensible malfeasance by the elected leaders of this nation.

It must be very hard to know that little people put out of work by the above mentioned malfeasance may get compensated for their losses without having to suffer the indignity of going to those evil tort reform lawyers who prey on good well meaning politically contributing corporations like BP.

If any of the little people have contacted you to express their righteous outrage at your apology to your friend I hope that your minions have successfully shielded you from having your pain worsened. I'm sure the little people in your employ have plenty of experience at shielding you from the realities the little people have to endure simply because..well..because they are little people.

Perhaps your friends the corporations will help you out with a nice villa in a country not encumbered by silly political agendas or regulatory agencies, maybe Somalia would be nice. I here the climate is good and the government has already been drowned in a bathtub.

Yours,

poas

3. Or perhaps
Myanmar where they have even been known to provide free housing. Of course that comes with some very strict restrictions.

6. Heck, I'll gladly chip in to pay some of his moving costs.
As long as he really leaves and never comes back.

8. Yes what a terrible thing it must be to live in a county that once in a blue moon ...
actually tries to hold corporations responsible for the harm they cause others. I only wish I could help Joe pack his belongings and move to whatever tin horn dictatorship he prefers.
