Fox News - "BP CEO's Day in Congress' Kangaroo Court" - Will FNC Apologize Next?

I guess we can soon expect Fox News to apologize to BP on behalf of the American people? Still, this is a story that is critical of the federal government response to BP, maybe it will appear on the greatest threads page.

First of all, they're not hearings, they're lectures.

And the invited aren't witnesses, they're piñatas.

That's what BP's Tony Hayward was on Thursday: a big, old piñata with an annoying British accent, no less — which works fine in James Bond movies, but wasn’t exactly cutting it today in Washington.

Look, Tony had it coming. BP's a disaster and he's the guy in charge of the disaster. Trouble is, his questioners today were just disastrous.

I'm not taking BP's side, but after today's performance, I'm thinking about it.

1. I watched Cavuto for about 15 minutes today - unbelievable!
He had some guy on who works for big oil and was trying to twist this guys words around to make him say that there is no reason why Obama is putting a 6 months moratorium of deep oil drilling. They even had the headline say that there was NO reason to have a moratorium when that's not what this guy said at all.
:puke: :puke:

2. Neil cavuto didnt even watch the hearings
If you watched the hearings there is no possible way someone could reach that conclusion. He decided from the headlines that he read, that it was just liberals being mean, and then wrote an article where he pretends that he actually watched it.

This is what happens when you have an agenda and then try to twist a story to fit that agenda, but fail miserably because you didn't even watch the event you are trying to distort. Its the same thing Sarah Palin does where she responds to events with pre-planned talking points and then sounds like an idiot because her talking points dont match up with whatever event it is shes commenting on.

Its like they aren't even trying.
