By the way, one great up-side of all this is that if we DO have access to Alien Technology...
...we're going to be using it any day now to save our monkey asses. So that question, at least, will be answered to my satisfaction and I can continue or discontinue listening to Coast to Coast AM, accordingly.

Another point of gallows irony, didn't the dinosaurs go extinct because of an asteroid impact in the...Gulf of Mexico?

1. The asteroid theory (a guess) is just what the grays and lizard people want you to think.

3. I keep watch on the spill cam to see them erupting from their petro-amniotic fluid...
....grab the ROV, get their face right in the middle of the frame before cutting the tether.

At this point, I would be surprised if that happened, but only mildly.

By the way, I actually saw one of those lizard people today on TV...apologizing to BP for being shaken down by the Obama administration.

2. I thought about the dinos too...
The go extinct from a meteor that hits the Gulf, then they turn into oil and attempt to retake the land!

7. The dinosaurs didn't use oil, didn't pollute, and they still died. The earth is doomed even without
us and what we are doing.

Best chance we have - use up the resources on earth to build space ships and get off this rock.

8. In the long run, if Earth life doesn't export itself it might wind up as...
...the frozen archaeological curiosity of another species from far away that does.

11. I bookmarked this the other day to read this weekend when I have more time
Looking for alien DNA http://cosmiclog.msnbc.msn.com/_news/2010/06/15/4508251-looking-for-alien-dna

Was linked on the MSNBC main page a few days ago. I have never heard of the guy, but apparently he has made a name for himself in this space/topic.

I hope the museum will allow his requested studies. As he says, it will either validate his word or discredit it completely.

If ET is out there (and reading DU), we beg of you - if you know how to fix this 'leak', we welcome your assistance! We'll work out the details later.

:D
