Dick Armey Tells Tea Party Canidates To Drop Tea Party Label

Dick Armey has some advice for tea party candidates:

Republican candidates popular with tea party activists should refrain from self-identifying as tea party candidates – and also should stay off MSNBC, Dick Armey said Wednesday.

They should hide who they are and mask their real agenda? Maybe they should call themselves the Citizens United Party.

And who should they talk to?

“Fox News for many of us, we believe is more accurate and reliable than most news most of the time, and we are quite comfortable enjoy when we’ve given interviews there,” he said.

Indeed. There isn’t another outfit out there that delivers tea party GOP talking points so accurately and reliably.

15. 'Stealth candidates' are nothing new to Repukes. Sadly, we're seeing some in our party, too.

I truly believe the real life policies of the right are not popular. So, they stick to the talking point sound bites that obscure the details and keep their more extreme positions under wraps. Sadly, some of the Conservadems do the same thing.
