Van Jones on Ed - This guy rocks
I wish he was still in the Admin. Kicking ass and taking names about BP.

:loveya:

1. He should be still in the Administration. He needs to be
re-instated.

George Bush kept war criminals in his administration even after they were revealed to have committed such crimes as leak the name of an undercover agent, engage in torture, lied about WMDs. But Van Jones was abandoned because of being targeted by lowest scum in this country today, without even a fight. And the media, who gave a pass to war criminals and still does, jumped on he bandwagon. Maybe if had actually committed a crime, he'd be more welcome in DC.

I haven't seen him on Ed. Do you have a link or some information on what he said?

3. It was the last segment of tonight's show.
Should be on MSNBC on Ed's page in a few hours.

He was kicking butt and taking names on the Admin response to the "spill" and BP in general.

LOVE him - and I agree, he needs to be back to his green job creation position. He is positively infectious in his passion for that.

Maybe we can set him up with a sex scandal. Isn't that the Republican 'get out of jail free' card? :eyes:

5. Thanks, I'll try to watch it later.
Lol, yes, a sex or war crime might get him some respect. I can't even remember what he was supposed to have done, it was that trivial. Once again shame on Democrats, who should have stood behind them and used the opportunity to slam the cowardly thugs on the right.

They went after him BECAUSE he is so effective. And the Dems back down as they did on ACORN and on Helen Thomas and where are they on the Siegelman case? I'd hate to be depending on them if I needed support from 'friends'.

7. Socialism
As a member of DSA myself, you can imagine how I feel about that. All based on a generic petition he signed a decade or so ago (others may have better details).

They smeared him as a "commie" and Rahm kicked him out. :grr:

9. Rahm probably hated him anyway. He was
way to smart and 'liberal' for the rightwing of the Democratic Party. I bet if you asked a dozen people what he did wrong, most could not tell you. We have to get better at fighting for those targeted by the right and going after them even harder than they go after liberals.

12. I wouldn't bet against that.
As DSA, I was livid. Would't surprise me if it missed most radar screens.
