4. I don't know which is sadder
the pictures themselves or the fact that we have go through the Chinese media to see what is happening in our own country.

You can thank the "free" market for all of this.

6. Most of those photos were from the AP.
I saw them in our media. I just had to look for them. They're not publicized here, but they're here.

14. It is sad that we have to depend on the Chinese to put it in perspective.
But then, we depend on the Chinese for a lot of things these days.

will learn a thing or two from our environmental disasters...they have problems of their own. And they demand more and more oil everyday.

I wish Obama had held these pictures up while addressing us last night instead of trying to talk us down. I imagine we might get some action on reform then.

And the M$M would have been speechless.

(On second thought, they're already pretty speechless about the actual disaster unfolding. Lots to say about the personalities involved, but little about the actual damage.)
