Rachel Maddow v. Ezra Klein Debate - This Is Why I Like TRMS

It was intelligent with two liberal leaning commentators having an intelligent disagreement on President Obama's speech. Ezra wanted a greater focus on climate change, and the need for climate change legislation. Rachel disgareed with Ezra saying that a discussion of global warming during a BP oil spill speech would have been awkward, but that the President should have more clearly tied the spill to the need for the passage of a comprehensive energy bill. Yes, President Obama supported a new energy policy, but he failed to more clearly tie the disaster to specific initiatives to transition to alternative energy sources, except to say in conclusory fashion that we need to do so.

It was actually a very interesting discussion and disagreement between two folks on left side of the political spectrum.
