Protesters swarm Arco station in S.F.

Amanda Ravenhill pedals a bike to generate electricity as she joins about 60 people in front the ARCO station (owned by BP) at Divisadero and Fell streets in San Francisco on Friday to protest the use of oil and the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. The group shut down two entrances into the gas station.

2. My son called me a short while ago with a plan to get rid of his car.
He'll have to move downtown closer to his job, but he feels like he is doing something about our problems.

4. Hope the owners of the station called the police.
My family owned a gas station. Hard to make a living without a bunch of holier than thou's preventing customers from getting in so you can put food on the table.
