2. Bush should be blamed for his legacy forever
It would be all nice and neat if Presidents' accountability stopped on the day they leave office. But life doesn't work that way. What they do reverberates for decades, if not forever. FDR's New Deal has been the foundation of the middle class and as long as it stood we were a rich country and we correctly still give him credit for it. The Civil Rights Act changed this country profoundly and JFK and Johnson are forever tied to it.

Bush is to blame or gets credit for everything he did and that's the way it should be.
