Barbour and Jindal are creating a strawman about the
moratorium on drilling..if it puts a lot of people out of work while the situations on other rigs are being looked at, that would mean the BP disaster caused the need for a moratorium. Therefore, BP should be liable for the wages lost on the other rigs. What a sham wow those two are.

2. I tend to agree with that line of reasoning
BP should be held at least partially liable for people losing jobs during the moratorium. Where that liability ends is on any rig found to be operating outside existing safety standards.

4. Barbour and Gyndal are both Ultra Conservative., thus they are
ultra Pro Business. Work the citizens in a fear lather over
losing jobs and they very craftily give their Business Pals
what they want. Same old GOP tactic as Unions cripple Business
therefore you(the people) must keep this a right to work
state or no Businesses will come here. The constant fear
for jobs is a great manipulation technique. This way the
people believe they are controlling things when they are
being led around by the nose and sometimes even exploited.

The GOP's first loyalty is to business, (part of their
founding principles.)
