If they have nothing to hide and aren't really responsible for any of this mess in the Gulf seems like they would really like some free media face time to present their side. Wouldn't they?

2. That is a good question. After all several hours before the rig went down, it
was Halliburton that was doing the work on the rig.

3. How About Trans Ocean?
Sorta a rhetorical question here, Don, dontcha think?

These people are so lawyered up, their laywers have to consult with lawyers. Right now BP is being left to hang as their name not only is all over this disaster but is far more public than Haliburton. You drive down the street and there's a BP or Arco station, you don't drive past a Halliburton-KBR store (even though it sounds like Blackwater is).

Hey, we've already heard the Haliburton side whenever Lizzard Cheney opens her pie hole.

4. Because he would get a VERY BAD performance review and might even lose his job.

You want the man to stick his neck out? To get into TROUBLE with his Corporate Bosses? To lose his fame, even dearer to him than his family's ill-gotten wealth?

Good luck waiting on THAT.
