Hall and Oates On Arizona Law: I Can't Go For That
Edited on Sun Jun-13-10 07:07 AM by samplegirl
Daryl Hall and John Oates, who I will always admire for their “heartfelt farewell” to me on The Daily Show, have canceled a concert in Phoenix and are encouraging other artists to stay away from Arizona because of their immigration law.

“The rock duo Daryl Hall and John Oates announced Monday they will not be playing Phoenix next month following an Arizona Diamondbacks game.

Their manager Jonathan Wolfson told The Associated Press from Los Angeles that Hall and Oates will not play Phoenix July 2 because of their personal stance against Arizona’s new immigration law.

The pair issued a statement through Wolfson saying they stand in solidarity with the music community in boycotting Arizona at this time.”

1. Golly gee, the immigration law is working, but not as intended.
Arizona will end up being stocked with nothing but racists and Tea-baggers. But I repeat myself.
I wonder what they will think of their Heaven then?

4. How about
Hall and Oates will not play Phoenix July 2 because of their personal stance against Arizona’s new immigration law.
Or Hall and Oates will not play because no one gives a rats ass about them because they have always sucked?
I thought it was all about Illegal Immigration. Everyone is fine with Legal Immigration. Fuck this is so confusing.

Excellent.
