More aerial photography of "IT". If you can stand it...
http://www.rsairphoto.com/

This guy is from Cummington, MA, near my old neck of the woods.

His aerial photography really spells it out.

Sorry I can't post a pic. They are all embedded or whatever you call it. Maybe someone else can tell me how to do it or post one yourself?

1. Just when I think I can't feel worse...
If there were such a thing as a compassionate God, I can't imagine any forgiveness for what we've done to our earth.

5. There will a special place in HELL for those who hurt others and destroy our environment.
If God was our father and he was a human on earthhe would be in prison for child neglect and child abuse. What 'compassionate, loving' god would allow such evil to harm those who are so good?

3. Oh, God!
Those pictures....no words.

Your friend is a good photographer. I can see things in those photos I've missed up until now. The wave of oil coming in to the beach...Oh...god...

His pictures are copyrighted so I won't link them here. Please, if your connection allows, go look at the pictures at the site.

Thanks, Bonobo!

I guess he means dumb as rocks, since salt is a rock. Bet they have NO clue that all this was made possible by their vote for Dick Cheney and deregulation.

16. If you read what he says, he has been on that island
for days and it was virtually empty. He was writing from there and photographing it the whole week before the president's visit. It was one of the islands that did not yet have any oil at that time.

But on the day of the president's visit, 14 school buses filled with 'clean-up' crews arrived as 'props' to make it look like a clean-up was going on. They were just there for the day.

The news media also reported that on the president's next visit, the same thing happened. Bus loads of 'cleaners' arrived. They would not talk to the media. Anderson Cooper did a show on this a few nights ago also. Reporters tried to talk to the 'crews' but they were under orders not to speak to anyone.

So, yes, it was a farce. A show put on knowing that the media would be covering the event and making it look like something was being done.

The photographer asks that we don't grab the photos and re-post them - I figured out to get them and post them here, but will respect his wishes.

14. I know the pictures are disturbing...
...but at this point, what is most disturbing is that BP is preventing
people from getting photos like this when they're able.

People need to see the truth.

This photographer is a hero, in my opinion. We need photos. During the Vietnam
War, the powers that be realized that powerful images can spark an entire generation
to protest. Since then, when we've had wars or other disasters--the same neocon,
corporate powers-that-be do their best to squelch the truth in images.

The only way we stop the Fascism that has swallowed our government--is by revolting, and
people won't do that unless they understand the horror of what has happened.

These photos help to reveal the truth.

Night helicopters spraying dispersant to hide the facts from, doing twice the damage with toxicity.

What the fuck do we do?
