Requesting polls made prior to SC Dem. primaries
Edited on Sat Jun-12-10 02:15 PM by Wandawilkerson
A debate has broken out as to whether Mr. Alvin Greene won the elections fair and square or via fraud.

I think we should compile a list of pre-election polls, no older than 1 week or 2 weeks prior to the elections, and compare to actual results. If there are exit polls, we should look at those too. But regular pre-election polls are rarely wildly off. Was Greene virtually tied with Rawu? Was he ahead? far behind?

What did polls say?

1. I doubt they even did a poll for this race.

2. See, that's a problem
I would love to say this guy won against all odds, but we don't even know what the odds were, based on a scientific measurement (poll).

3. People bitch about polls but see what happens when there aren't any?

4. Surely Vic Rawl hired a polling outfit before the election.
Didn't he get any numbers?

5. I don't understand all the confusion on this
Mostly R's voted for Greene. There is nothing illegal about that in SC primaries. It's weird IMO, but that's how their primaries are set up. R's can vote for D's and D's can vote for R's.
