Every time Obama opens his mouth BP stock price goes down?
Obama is not to blame for BP's downfall, BP is to blame for BP's downfall.

I'd like Obama to keep opening his mouth as he is representing the American people.

So, please, President Obama, keep talking about the way BP is attempting to lie.

Let the chips fall where they may.

1. Well he obviously kept his lips buttoned up today then
because the stock regained most of yesterday's losses today.

4. You have no reason to
so why did you post what could be seen as a cause and effect statement in the affirmative?

5. I answered your second question.
Your first was the rhetoric question "Every time Obama opens his mouth BP stock price goes down?" after which you a series of statements. I commented in reponse to your question as if to say it may be true and that the subsequent increase in their stock price may provide a clue as to whether or not your assumtion was in fact correct. Incase you hadn't noticed I'm english so other than what I see/hear on the 15 or so news channels I get I don't really have a clue exactly what he does on a day to day basis.

No was the answer to your second, closed ,statement/question...."You do blame Obama?".

Why should I blame Obama ? You raised the subject not me.

On the subject of BP's share values , which have no effect on their balance sheet ,I don't really give a fuck other than to feel sorry for those affected equally so both sides of the Atlantic whose pensions are/may be affected. The main issue with the share values is that the lower those shares go the more likelyhood there is of BP America being split off , BP North America becoming BP Canada and China buying the rest.

Good morning.

6. I imagine what really might kill future oil/gas oil exploration, particularly the riskier types,

is that insurance is bound to go up so high it won't be nearly as lucrative IF they can even get coverage.
And between the enormity of recent natural and man made disasters even the insurance companies may go under.
