Bachmann: ‘No Question’ Obama Is Worst President in History
Bachmann: ‘No Question’ Obama Is Worst President in History
By Andy Birkey 6/11/10 10:54 AM

Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) appeared on the conservative “Ben Shapiro Show” yesterday and assessed president Obama’s place in history among his 42 predecessors.

“Is President Obama better or worse than Jimmy Carter?” Shapiro asked.

“Worse. Easily worse,” responded Bachmann.

1. Sorry Michele, but that title is already taken by G.W. Bush.

21. OH no , why do you think Texas is re-writing history
they are going to make Bush the best president who ever lived just wait and see. And as for Bachmann the crap spews from her mouth a mile a minute. She is the dingbat to end all dingbats. Hope with all my heart she gets beat so bad this November people will instantly forget her name.

5. I don't think so. Even those of us who are disappointed with
Pres. Obama's performance clearly know that Bush was easily the worst President in American history.

7. What's really sad is Obama's continuation of the chimp's horrible policies.
And his refusal to hold the previous administration accountable for their many crimes and acts of outright treason.

We had high hopes for Obama. We contributed money, registered new voters and worked our asses off.

Tough shit if you are upset that some DUers are disappointed in this administration! They have earned our disdain.

11. Why do you post here?
Edited on Fri Jun-11-10 10:37 AM by Winterblues
Are you just a part of the Choir? Singing nothing but praise? I believe posts here are read by quite a few people and some even are influential. I believe it is imperative that they hear not just the good but also all the things that make Liberals unhappy. There is no way a course can be changed without some sort of influence. Most of the people here that are expressing their displeasure with either Democrats in general or the Administration in particular would NEVER ever vote Republican...They just want CHANGE and are being antagonistic toward that goal. I understand it is distressing for many here to hear unpleasant things about their Hero, but in the words of Susan B Anthony, "Agitate, Educate, Organize"......It is my goal to do all three.

4. Good ol' Ben Shapiro, boy prognosticator
But yeah, it's baffling to me that such a middle of the road guy, who's chief failing is that he doesn't want to take a firm stand on anything, engenders such hatred from so many.

6. Nowhere near the Worst President Ever: George W. Bush
Edited on Fri Jun-11-10 10:08 AM by ixion
He wins hands down.

Which is why it pisses me off so much when Obama defends and/or continues Bush-era policies.

12. Part of the weird logical disconnect we see here at DU
If it's true that GWB is the worst president ever (and it is most certainly true), what does that make a president who adopts and continues his policies?

14. It makes him not good
but also not the worst.

I'm very unhappy with Obama. Extremely unhappy with him. But he's still better than Chimpy ever was, if only because he can make a coherent sentence.

18. It makes him a whole lot better. I do not recall a single thing that Bush did for the common people
except the 'no call list'. If you can't think of a least a half dozen bills passed since Obama took office that have helped the people, I don't know where you've been. Bush could not stand up and speak about an issue without having practiced the answer. President Obama is an inspiring speaker. I haven't noticed Obama started two invasions although he is forced to do something with the two he inherited.

13. Actually, Obama will go down in history as the BEST president ever.
George W. Bush is the worst president in history, taking that title from James Buchanan.

17. One thing I hate about modern American politics
It's the "Sports Team from my Geographical Area is Superior to the Sports Team from Your Geographical Area" mentality.

16. Even at this point in W's presidency you couldn't really call
him the worst president ever. Although 9/11 had happened by then he was still just making plans for the illegal invasion of Iraq and hadn't yet tortured (that we knew of). I do think at this point in Bachmann's career as a congressperson we could easily call her one of the worst ever.
