Did I misrememberhear Bob Cavnar on KO last night?? Did he say

that the dispersant was being sprayed right at the point of the flow?

Keith asked him about a light or something that was appearing. Cavner mentioned dispersants.

If that is true, WHY are they still being allowed to use it?????

I checked the MSNBC site and there is a clip. Cavnar said that the points of fire or whatever were created by a 'wand' from an ROV spraying a dispersant directly into the flow.

2. This is the meaning

of "dispersant ops" on the title bar of the video feed. There are two ROVs discharging dispersant into the leak. When they pan out, you can even see it working as the cloud turns into tiny particles.

5. I haven't watched the oilcam.

I have seen it in bits and pieces like those clips on KO. It's doing the same thing in different degrees and ways.

If they throw Hayward or Cheney down there, I might watch.
