I don't understand why Jim Demint is so worried that Alvin Greene would be recruited
From the WCBD News 2 website. "Accused of being a plant, Democratic nominee Alvin Greene appears on MSNBC"
"Appearing shaken and unorganized, Greene, the Democratic nominee for the Senate seat currently held by Rep. Jim Demint, appeared on MSNBC’s Countdown with Keith Olbermann."

It's just weird that Demint and the Republicans are worried enough that they'd get someone who appears so obviously not ready for prime time. Demint's seat has to be secure.

1. DeMint's seat is secure here. My guess is Greene might somehow play a role in hurting Dem Sheheen's
bid for governor.

How? Dunno...

2. Oh, I see. Sheheen would have to support all down-ticket candidates
I saw Greene interviewed earlier on Keith's program and like others here at DU I thought I heard a third persons voice. People are saying he was being coached on the spot. So this scheme appears to be falling apart ever since this morning when Rep. Clyburn hit the airways.

If he's a plant then this is an exquisite GOP fumble. Greene just might spill the beans before too long if he can't wing an interview with Keith.

3. IMO, this was a colossal fuckup om the part of the GOP.
You want to skew an election, you need to at least give the idea that it is quasi legit.

Unless this is a Dem party-led Rovian "double secret probation" (apologies to Animal House) ploy to buy time to find another candidate.

who likes porn and can't talk.

DeMint is doing this to practice running for the White House in 2012. He needs an oponent to beat up on so people will think he is the Great White Hope.

7. I would rather see a ignorant porn-dog in office than Jim DeMint.
I've never heard ignorant porn-dogs defend mass murderers as DeMint did with the health insurance.
