The background case involved a contentious arrest of illegals/suspected illegals at the Mexican border and during the arrest several Mexican citizens started throwing rocks at the officers. The officers returned fire and shot a 15-year old. There is some contentious facts in the case, like the placement of the cartridge and whether or not the FBI crossed into Mexican territory and was threatened by Mexican Federales. Instead of analyzing the situation and determining what solutions are available (like DU posters), FOX News posters immediately and unequivocally dive head-first into racist rhetoric, which if applied to the situation in real-time, would lead to open warfare with Mexico.
