Jon Stewart Takes on Another Stupid School Board

In Hacienda Heights, California, the School Board is attempting to ban the Chinese language and culture classes because it is sponsored by China.

The rationale: Learning Chinese will turn you into a communist. Doesn't matter that the program is called "The Confucius Program" rather than the "Maoist Program."

Amazing how a school board can be so ignorant. But I confess, I wouldn't put something like this past my own local school board.
