If they have enough returns to say that Orly The Certificator the winner in her primary, they should have SOME LA numbers.

2. CA SOS number show Harman ahead 65.1% vs. 34.9 %

http://vote.sos.ca.gov/returns/usrep/3659.htm

but it sounds like only a small amount of precincts reporting... 8.7% (2001 of 22,894)

3. Is there an area of the district where Harman would have disproportionately large support?
n/t.

5. I'm guessing the northern part is more conservative...
But that's just speculation on my part since I don't really know that area well enough. My sister and mother live to the northwest of that district, and as you go further north, you get in to more Republican areas.

6. It's interesting that the percentages change, but the raw vote numbers don't...
I suspect that these vote numbers just reflect the absentee ballots or others that were counted prior to voting today. Perhaps we'll get more updates when some of these precincts are 100% counted. Sounds like the percentages are reflecting just which precincts have been "counted", but that the numbers haven't been reported yet.

Sounds still way too early to know what real numbers are...
