13. I disagree, malaise. The sooner they fix (the volcano, not the ecological destruction)

the less they will have to pay out in fines, lawsuits, etc. so I think they're financially motivated to 'plug the damn hole'.

They've already said they will donate proceeds from recovered oil to the Wildlife Fund. Not that I believe ONE WORD they say, but they would be under close scrutiny and wouldn't be too successful in spiriting away tankers chock full o'oil.

So, in summation :7 I think they want the oil stopped ($$$), after that I don't think they give a fuck.
