DUers have sent dozens emails of complaint to msnbc over unka pat through the years, and he's still there. We've heard about other employees being in hot water at msnbc over things they've said or done, but we've never heard a peep about unka pat being called on the carpet by msnbc top brass for any of the racist/sexist/bigoted things he's spewed. I despise Buchanan and his selfish arrogance about almost everything, but he's either smart enough, or dumb enough not to broad brush an entire population. I think we all know he hates Jews too, but he never comes out and flatly says it. Helen never pulled any punsches, with her questions or statements, but this time she really did overstep.

I was too young to remember exactly what happened in Germany, Poland etc. that caused the Jews to flee. I know there was a decidion made that they get a part of Palestine as their own, and were supposed to be left alone to live there. The problem I think is that people are just really sick & tired of people not getting along. I kep hearing that the Palestinian & the Israeli people both want peace & are tired of constant fighting & wars. What the hell can be done to get the leaders of both countries to want that too?
