Breaking the back of the Tea Party! Donate to Jack Conway, democratic Senate nominee in Kentucky's senate race. He's facing off against Rand Paul, darling of the teabaggers and generally unstable son of Ron Paul. This is a close race and a very possible senate pickup for the Dems in a formerly republican seat. 77% of Rand Paul's donations have come from outside the Commonwealth while Jack has gotten 75% from within Kentucky.

This is the national bellweather for November and the secret is that we can win this thing just as we can still win in November. The republicans are grandstanding for national issues but they won't run candidates who will work for or match their districts. This fact is most explicit here in the Commonwealth where we have a Texan transplant not at all in tune with this state.

We need to put this on the map. We need to break the Tea Party on the rocks. We need to show the pundits that then national tea party will be broken in a red state!
