Hopefully, the primary author is the appropriate person to submit the resolution. Senator Bayh is not the appropriate person on the Senate side.

Maybe President Obama should just get a jump on them and do his own announcement. He could probably have a few greats from Wooden's alumni standing in the back.

9. when I coached some softball for my girls, our teams talked about wooden, what he

said, what was important to him. We discussed his quotes and sayings. He was important to our team and I'd like to think that the girls, even now some years later, might remember that and remember his principles and his thinking and that he had important things to say about life even as we hear about his passing. I certainly do.

Thank you for being such a wonderful example of what true sportsmanship should be.

If there's a heaven, I'd like to be in the stands there, watching the games he'll be coaching there.
