Limbaugh couldn't help himself this week, taking a swipe at Gore's marriage breakup by citing a study that concluded that divorce is bad for the environment, because when people split up, they consume more resources than they did as a couple.

"The environmental wackos have put this notion up there that divorce contributes to global warming," Limbaugh said on his radio show. "And now, here is Mr. Global Warming, a Nobel Peace Prize winner, now contributing to his own crisis."

That's just mean. That would be like me pointing out that Mr. Talent-on-Loan-from-God's fourth marriage is bad for the right-wing religious wackos and their zany notions of "the sanctity of marriage." And that Limbaugh's wedding only sets up the possibility of yet another breakup, adding to his already significant contribution to the divorce crisis.

But I say, screw the religious zealots and their alarmist end-of-the-world rhetoric. Limbaugh deserves another mulligan. He's making steady improvements when it comes to hanging onto wives
