Father Sentenced To Five Years Probation

TAMPA, Fla. -- A Tampa man accused of water torturing his daughter because she found his pornography was sentenced to five years probation.

Moslim Al-Assadi, 37, was originally charged with two counts of aggravated child abuse, but pleaded guilty to two downgraded counts of child abuse as part of a deal.

The judge ruled he cannot have any contact with his children during probation.

Authorities said his daughter said that in 2008, he dunked her head into a tub of water until she could not breathe as punishment for finding his pornography.

Authorities said the son also described being punished by having his hands tied, being turned upside down and having his head dipped into water.

People see the politicians, church leaders, CEOs, the pillars of society do things and get away with it and feel that is the way it should be. The leaders cry out about crime, injustice, wrongs in the world and never stop to think that they are setting the example for the people. If the leaders want things to change then they better change the way they conduct their business and then the people will follow.
