Edited on Thu Jun-03-10 02:54 PM by AngryAmish
He did not win the Nobel Prize in fixing oil spills. I think everyone should give him a break.

2. He didn't win it making peace either.
Just pointing that out.

15. OK. Last I heard, I'm not on the Nobel Committee.
They're free to give the award to whomever they choose. Not my call.

9. Um, that wasn't the job description
He asked for the job. Others were willing to take it. I don't think even Obama would suggest that anyone "give him a break".

14. we won't know for 5 DECADES what he won the award for, will we?
Rather convenient that the Nobel people keep secret who exactly put him in for the award, isn't it?

18. Well he's not doing such a great job in bringing about peace either,
In fact he's doubled down on war since he actually received the prize. Kind of disheartening.

22. No.
War is peace
Ignorance is strength
Freedom is slavery

Just because Oceania changed leaders doesn't mean that everything changed.
