First Palin, now Bush.

Since it appears Facebook has finally been co-opted by the right, I'm ready to abandon ship. Please consider cancelling your FB account to deflate it's importance as a propaganda tool.

to the point I really don't hang out here much anymore. I'm really disgusted with the Obama bashing that goes on here, the hatred for any religious views, the wailing and gnashing of teeth over the oil spill, among a host of other things. (There are many here who secretly agree with Michelle Bachman about faulting Obama for not "commandeering" private boats for the oil spill. But they'll never admit it because the possibilities and implications scare the hell out of them!) Everything's a Doomsday scenario from Obama losing to a Republican because he allegedly deserves it to you name it.

I've rarely seen such a display of collective stupidity coupled with total naiveté and ignorance of basic politics being the art of compromise.

Sorry to be so blunt, seshers, but you can't be serious. That's just kind of embarrassing to quit for that reason.

FB has not been "co-opted by the right". You just don't have enough liberal friends. Almost all of my facebook friends lean left, or else have no interest in politics. I think you need new friends.
