On the heels of a new poll just released showing Santa Claus Kasich and his sack-full of promises trailing Gov. Ted Strickland by 5 points, the Kasich campaign just took another shot to the nards. The news was just released that Ohio led the nation in new job creation for the month of April (and this is thanks, in large part, to efforts made by Democrats to pass bills aimed at recovery). This is seriously bad news for a campaign who has been running strictly on the idea that Strickland, and I quote, "didn't get the JOBS done" (yes, the guy in the commercial actually says "jobs," as in plural). Pretty sad when great economic news is actually a setback for your campaign, but we ARE talking about a Republican, after all.
