The GOP New World Order
Well it looks like the GOP's New World Oder, what I think has been the plan of the GOP for years, and Bush's "financial" bailout to his buddies in banking and the financial institutions, is finally coming to be:

http://money.cnn.com/2010/06/01/news/economy/contract_jobs/index.htm

NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- Jobs may be coming back, but they aren't the same ones workers were used to.

Many of the jobs employers are adding are temporary or contract positions, rather than traditional full-time jobs with benefits. With unemployment remaining near 10%, employers have their pick of workers willing to accept less secure positions, boosting an existing trend toward a contract workforce.

In 2005 the government estimated that 31% of U.S. workers were already so-called contingent workers. Experts say that number could increase to 40% or more in the next 10 years, due to demographic trends, changes in health insurance law and corporate cost-cutting.

James Stoeckmann, senior practice leader at WorldatWork, a professional association of human resource executives, believes that full-time employees could become the minority of the nation's workforce within 20 to 30 years, leaving employees without traditional benefits such as health coverage, paid vacations and retirement plans, that most workers take for granted today.

*******************

Yes folks, this is what the GOP has wanted since Reagan, to do away with companies having to give out benefits, to lower wages, and to make sure that we end up in a "two" class system with no such thing as a "middle class", just those with the big money, and the rest of us. Reagan's so called 'immigration" plan had no teeth in it. It allowed employers to be able to hire illegals with no enforcement of the laws against them hiring the illegals. Wages have dropped over they years, business's have outsourced jobs to third world countries and americans are unemployed. NAFTA insured a steady flow of workers who would work less money because they could not find work in their own country. Now even if we do get some real kind of immigration reform, and start making sure workers are here legally, the wages have dropped, benefits will be gone, and there will be hundreds of workers, maybe more, trying to get any job that does come open, and there will no longer be job security, benefits, or decent wages that you can save money to send your children to college. Health care will be a thing only the rich can afford, and the republicans will be happy!

If the republicans can take control of congress again, and if they can take back the WH in 2012, we will be living in the New World Order!

2. No doubt in my mind.
The GOPers were so close to pulling off the second coming of the guilded age it wasn't funny under BushCo. Next time the neocons get in the driver's seat it will be welcome to the fourth reich.

3. Okay, I can accept that
this is what the GOP wants and that they have largely achieved their goal. The question is why do they want this? Why do they want U.S. citizens to suffer and struggle when it is not necessary?

10. Two reasons
Power and money! The more money they have the more power they have and that means they can invade other countries, take their resources, and nobody can stop them. As I said in another post, if americans have no jobs they will end up in the military, and that's the whole plan, to create a huge military that will do the dirty work of invading so the rich can get richer, and the poor, well the words cannon fodder comes to mind!

want us, now--it's going to be dog-eat-dog for the few secure jobs that have benefits, from here on out. Fighting for scraps. I feel sad for my kids, for all our kids. What kind of future will they have?

8. Only one future
The plan is simple, when there is no work for americans they can build up the military with an all "volunteer" force. There will be no place else to get work, and if the republicans get control again, they will continue to invade countries that have some kind of resources that the big "corporations" want to get their hands on, and we will find some kind of an excuse to invade, and steal what those with the money want, and spend countless american lives to obtain that goal! The rich will be able to afford higher education, health care, and all the things they want, while the rest of us have very little choices, and will be the new slave class, or join the military, there will be no other choices, no middle class, and no hope for those who aren't born with a silver spoon in our mouths!

All we can hope for is that more americans start to see just how corrupt the republican party is, and just how much they are working for the corporations and how little they do for the average person! Of course like some have already said, we have some of the same kinds or corporate shills on our side also, and we need to not only get rid of the republicans but those democrats in congress who are willing to sell themselves to the highest bidder!
