Witnesses deny that any of aid protesters were armed

BERLIN -- Three visibly shaken Germans, who experienced a deadly raid by the Israeli military on an aid flotilla bound for Gaza, denied on Tuesday that anyone on board was armed, according to the news wire service AFP.

"The Israeli government justifies the raid because they were attacked. This is absolutely not the case," former member of parliament Norman Paech, 72, wrapped in a blue blanket, told reporters in Berlin.

"This was not an act of self-defence."

2. How is it that the protestors didn't set up video and have every protester

taking photos? Given how adept the Israelis are with propaganda and how ruthless they have proven themselves to be, I am baffled that video and photos were not being streamed as soon as the protestors saw the Israelis.

4. Only the wilfully blind would ignore that real possibility. Israeli has

consistently ignored international law so I am utterly mystified that people would expect Israel not to attack ships in international waters. IMO its like BP not having a plan to deal with the Gulf disaster.

5. I am trying

to keep an open mind abouy all this. All I want to say is that the ones on the ship do not make the most reliable witnesses. I see no reason to trust what they say more than what the Israelis say. This being said, I find the whole incident very disturbing and profoundly dislike what Netanyahu and his ilk are doing to Israel.
