I know! We can call ACME!!
Yeah that's it! We can strap an ACME industrial Nuclear Bomb to the Coyote's back and use a giant rubber band to slingshot him 5000 feet below the surface to blow that well shut! Or maybe we can get an ACME giant cement cylinder, have the Road Runner run around the spill really fast creating an oil tornado and then just drop the cement cylinder right on top of it!!

Or we can stop all this fucking around, tell BP to write a blank check and get the fuck out of the way. Then we get the best Scientists, Engineers, and Environmentalists together, we make sure none of them has a political or financial stake in the outcome of this disaster and get them to solve it.
The problem as I see it is the people coming up with "solutions" are all people who have some sort of political or financial stake in the outcome. Get the goddamn politicians and the oil people out of the fucking way so we can do something that doesn't look like it was invented for a fucking Road Runner cartoon.

2. I am sure that Rahm Emmaneuel has already explained to BP that they need
To write a blank check.

It is just that it isn't necessarily for the clean up efforts - but that 2112 re-election campaign.
