Trying to keep track of it --

would be interesting to hear their views of

some of our insanities --

Seems to be covering the long list of our tragedies from Arizona to BP --

elections and jobs -- Palin --

Parphrasing as I'm hearing it - don't depend on absolute accuracy and missed a lot.

T-party, a new investment by right wing -- momentarily dazed by the anti-racist

election of Obama -- financed this new racist effort.

They'll succeed only IF... there is not a powerful anti-racist response!!

Must be a powerful anti-racist response -!!

Economic crisis only 2 years old . . .

recovery is modest --

Crisis of debt has become a new tool for blundgeoning the people -- cutting

Social Security. Solutions will fall on the people -- not MIC.

Convert polluting industries --

Militarism of the economy is incompatible with peace in the long term.

Our vision of socialism is about the working class -- routed in our values.

People before profits --

Sustainability -- not growth -- Protect nature and turn down the temperature of the planet.

So that our children and grandchildren have a future.

Socialism is a new necessity -- therefore.

Quotes Studs Terkel -- didn't get it --

"A people united will never be defeated -"

--------IMO, I don't think we see Americans united in any way at all --

We didn't even come out to demonstrate for MEDICARE FOR ALL -- !!

And, certainly the Democratic Party didn't invite us out to do so -- !!

www.cpusa.org -- where I presume you might find a transcript?

Sam Webb - National Chair
