NB Colo 115 at the on ramp of NB I-25 (Colorado Springs)
Edited on Mon May-31-10 11:35 AM by Froward69
(about 5:30pm) Yesterday while on my way home from an extended Motorcycle ride. I was cut off in traffic by a pickup truck. no signal just swerved in front of me. Of course I was angered. It then continued to sway back and fourth in the lane ahead of me. Keeping a close eye on it, I noticed the McCain bumper sticker along with a few other tea bagger stickers. (including a semi-popular one, using our President's Campaign Logo.) A couple blocks later it stopped on the right of a double left turn lane to the on ramp of the interstate. I pulled along the drivers side at the red light. I looked over and saw a Box Terrier looking back at me. Standing on the drivers lap with its paws on the door. (window down) The Driver looked over at me, nodded and smiled. out of anger and disgust I yelled...

"you are as irresponsible with your Vote as you are with your driving, asshole! You are about to get on an Interstate with a dog on your lap you fucking Idiot! Who the Fuck gave you a Drivers License?" The driver started to respond, I continued... "You already cut me off once Mother fucker! Are You drunk or just like having any sort of Bitch on your lap?"

The Dog started barking, He pulled it off of his lap.
Just then the light turned Green and I pulled away on to the Interstate making sure the Idiot was behind me. He did not follow or I lost him in traffic.

I sure hope he did not kill anyone, once his pooch got back on his lap... Dickhead.

I just wanted to share with like minded friends.

on edit/ Changed "slanderous" to semi-popular

1. The dog will act as his airbag in case of an accident.

9. Thank you
I try to be careful... This guy was the only obvious danger I encountered through the whole 750mi (back road UShwy) overnight trip. Of course getting on the interstate at the very end.

must be the FReeper guy that cut me off...

anywho,

I got the Avatar from a like minded poster at the Denver post... we were arguing with others over medical Marijuana and the state leglislature placing insane regulations on our state constitution.

MMJ is guaranteed in Colo's state constitution... Amendment 20

10. Odd how everyone who ever cuts off anyone is not only a teabagger
...but has just enough bumperstickers to prove it.

Interesting, that.

12. I saw plenty of anti Obama bumperstickers on my roadtrip.
This guy was the only one who was driving dangerously.

13. It is within the realm of possibility that the driver did not see you when
you were "...cut off in traffic by a pickup truck...."

It may have been totally unintentional, as witnessed by the nod and smile the driver gave you before you put him in the mindset to purposely cut off every motorcyclist he comes close to in the future.

I ride a motorcycle, got my first one in 1961. It has been my experience that when someone deliberately cuts me off, and we arrive at a stop at the same time, they tend to avoid eye contact. If I was in a blind spot and the see me at the last minute, I have always been given a nod or gesture of apology (hands in the air, facepalm, etc.)

It is easy to hide in a blind spot. They are not all out to get us.

15. well this guy had turned right
into the right lane, as I was approaching the intersection in the left lane. I rolled alongside as he was accelerating. once ahead of me is when he pulled into the left lane. like I said he did not signal. I watch for that stuff, (vehicles turning, pulling out, signaling etc.) especially on my bike, I try to keep a "swivel head".

I do not like wearing a helmet. Going down is just not my thing.

14. The fucking idiots out there are just astounding, and you really have to ride to appreciate it.
All Fucking idiots subconsciously take aim at motorcycles; some do it consciously.

16. oh yeah... one of my pet peeves is
vehicles that have non functional tail lights... (turn signals, brake lights etc.) I realize NO ONE checks their lights before every drive. so when I see a brake light out, If given the opportunity, I pull up and tell them it is not working. Better me letting them know about it, than a cop...

17. It seems a good portion of the population ... possibility a majority ...
does not understand that you are supposed to use your turn signal EVERY TIME you change lanes. I see a lot of drivers who will sit at the light with their signal blinking the whole time, but not ever bother to signal a lane change. So it's not like they don't know hot to signal, or they're trying not to wear out the blinker.

Of course, it's not really a signal if you use it AFTER you've turned the wheel, either.
