How far out from the coast does US jurisdiction extend?
If you've been on a cruise ship, you may recall that they don't open the casino until the ship is "x" miles offshore.

I'm not sure what "x" is but my next question is does the limit for restriction of gaming aboard ship apply also to US control over the extraction of minerals from the sea bed?

And if we don't control it, what's to stop BP from locating and drilling in suitable sites outside of this jurisdictional limit and thumbing their corporate nose at us if we try to restrict their activities?

At some point, offshore drilling must be beyond our control? What is that distance and how does it relate to the site that caused the current disaster?

2. To the skies above Pakistan
If there is something that the "owners" really, really don't want, there is no place on Earth safe from their drones.

4. It depends based on what is being "controlled" for resource explotation it is 200 miles.
Fishing, Crabbing, Oil Drilling, even undersea mining. Any resource within 200 miles of host countries coastline is considered the property of the host country.
