11. I've done exactly that, and it has the effect of my not going back to MS NBC for the rest of the day

I'm positive I am not the only one that does this. They are hurting themselves for more than the AM show by not having a decent host. I had rather have just straight news reporting than a host that is awful.

I've sent Abrams a couple of e-mails, Maybe he will see the light - before it is too late. Once watchers are lost, it is next to impossible to get them back. Better not to lose them in the first place.

I suppose because he's black, they figure he can get away with blatant racism against blacks easier. He has a show out here in Los Angeles, and it's sickening. There is no corporate or GOP crime he can't dismiss- he even said Enron's practices were just fine, IIRC.

But if a black entertainer does something unbecoming, or something he can twist into something unbecoming, he'll harp on it literally for days, and point out how it's representative of American blacks and black culture in America.

I really liked it - don't know why it was canceled. Haven't followed his career since, but he was very fair minded back then -- dealing with *issues* about fairness and treating people the way you wanted to be treated. He seemed like a reasonable guy, although the Grand Master of the KKK didn't like him much! :)
