Make Bush and the Republicans realize the National Guard and its equipment belongs at home not in Iraq.

15. I'm proud to be a native Kansan. And a KU JayHawk...

Kansas was not all THAT red when I was growing up. Yes, Kansas elected Bob Dole, but it was also the home of Dwight Eisenhower... someone who if alive today, would likely NOT be a Republican. There are some fundy areas, but also some very progressive areas as well (Lawrence comes to mind).

However, I haven't spent much time there since leaving in 1985... so my observations could be way out of date.

5. And that is the rub...
We would all like to think that we live in a color blind society but the reality is we don't...The guard has been on the ground since it happened in Kansas....

Both the Gulf Coast and the Kansas Community suffered terribly from these disasters.....I hope that the response is better but I won't hold my breath...

Another major issue with the Guard Equipment....this administration is making no effort to replace it....so the states are getting hammered with the bill to restock the States national guard equipment.....

It really is a sad situation this country is in.....

19. I suspect the only thing that would make them realize that we don't belong
in Iraq is if there is another here. After all, they are saying we are fighting there ...blah blah. And even then, there would be the 28% that would still hang on to DimSon's orginal objectives.
