BP won't show the "Top Kill" live

Breaking on CNN, BP is going to kill the live feed while they are attempting the "Top Kill.

Not sure why...:shrug:

The oil plume that is gushing out looks considerably darker now.

Of course, it's unlikely they fail. They have said a 60-70% chance. They can fashion reality into a success, I'm sure. Who will stop them?

And in what year will they refuse to hand over the videos under subpoena?

They (BP) haven't had technical prowess since 1987-1988 when the Brits took over SOHIO and laid off a bunch of their best engineers and scientists (been there, done that, bought the t-shirt, loved Cleveland).
The level of technical prowess in the industry has deteriorated since the mass layoffs of the 1980's.
