This is the Kentucky blogger who busted Paul's communications director.
From the barefoot and progressive blog:

Rand Paul's spokesperson is a Satanic Metal God in KKK gear (5 UPDATES)
I know that sounds like quite a statement, but it's, uh, the straight dope.

Chris Hightower is the campaign spokesperson for Rand Paul. The same campaign spokesperson who made an ass of himself a few weeks ago by commenting that a video comparing Trey Grayson to Adolf Hitler was "too funny", making national press.

Needless to say, it was an embarrassment for the campaign. But "embarrassing" can be a relative term. It wasn't, for example, anything like this:

Meet Commander.

Video, photos at link, warning.

2. Thank you. It reinforces this Kentuckian's uneasiness about this election.

Paul has an appeal to the primitive, threatened element in this area and presumably others.

Conway needs all the support possible.

3. Wow! What an idiot.
When I clicked on the myspace link, it came up for Carlos Santana(?)
I love the quote by Mark Twain at the top of the blog: "When the end of the world comes I want to be in Kentucky. It's always twenty years behind."

5. Great job by that blogger
Shows the importance of independent reporting these days. Bloggers are the new muckrakers and glad they are doing that.

Revealing statement by Rand Paul at the time of Hightower's resignation:

Paul, in a statement, said, "I have never heard a single utterance of racism from this staffer nor do I believe him to have any racist tendencies. However, it is impossible to present the ideas and reforms we need in this country with this controversy present. Therefore I have accepted his resignation."

Yeah Rand, because people without "racist tendencies" often wear KKK gear, then post "LOL" about "Afro-Americans" reactions to that.

9. Exactly
Just add another "our" between out and obvious.

His tongue must be sore from all the tripping over it he's been doing.

6. Oy.
"Communications director"? With racist slurs on his MySpace page?

*slapping forehead*

And by the way, why would skeletons be dripping blood? Aren't they, well, skeletons?
