Harry, you can be taxed the old fashioned way, or Big Oil will tax you at the pump with $6+ gas without government subsidies.

Without govt subsidies to big oil, gas would run around $6 a gallon or more.

Ending these subsidies would reduce consumption which would be one of the best actions we could take to combat the polluting nature of fossil fuels like oil. Which is why we need to END govt subsidies to dirty, dangerous energy sources like oil and gasoline/diesel. Energy corps like big oil have been feeding at the public trough for long enough.

As BP's oil volcano erupts and kills our oceans.

This disaster will alter life on Earth.

Driving on public/big govt roads, streets, highways to the gas station where you give your SUV a daily injection of more big government.
