It's a movement of the committed Republican ideological base, astroturfed by FOXNEWS and r/w talkradio into a fake populist uprising. The trick is to channel rage at the systemic failure back into votes for the Republican Party, and to make this failure of capitalism be entirely the failure of some last-minute figurehead of the state (what was his name, Obama or something).
