Kerry & Feingold ranked among worst in Senate

I've periodically posted this poll hoping to insure a fair outcome this fall,and so far it seems to fall in line w/ reality with the exception of Kerry & Feingold.
Somebody or group of somebodies are keeping them at the bottom of the rankings. This is really interesting since Kerry was voted #1 a year ago.

Before you think this is just an everyday poll, remember, they do it every year and Senate staffers DO look at these rankings.

1. I've been into politics for eons, and I have never heard of this site

It's run by an "anonymous" and "disabled" person with "heart disease" who avers to be nonpartisan.

I dunno--the HILL poll I have seen (that is the one the staffers get involved in, along with the WAPO one), the ROLL CALL one too...but this one? Never.

2. They were specifically targeted

They were the only two Dems in the bottom. The top ones were all Democrats. I think they targeted Kerry because he was the presidential candidate and because he was considered most trusted in 2006.

11. Wonkette noticed the poll

and saw that Kerry won it last year. They gave the url and asked people to vote him down (he was then I think second to Feingold.) This was then taken up by various freepers, who in voting Kerry down, chose to vote Feingold too. At that time, you could vote an infinite amount of time. Now, with Kerry and Feingold freeped, you can't.

5. This is an Internet poll, anybody can vote as often as they like

I did a google on the site and owner you will find right wing links that are up in arms when Dems lead that 'poll' and those right wingers got to that site and vote over and over.

Staffers can look at it all they want but it is still a stacked poll. Anybody who can clear cookies can vote as much as they want to vote.

6. Doesn't seem to make much difference

the pukes did not get anything above the high 40's(48?) and that was Olympia Snowe, I loved the dead last being Lieberman though.

And the ranks changed as I was on there, as I and who-knows-how-many-others rated the Sens. I'll go back.

7. Notice

When you vote for some of the senators they move up or down after the vote is registered. But Kerry or Feingold do not move at all. You are correct something is wrong. I say this site twice before and Senator Kerry was near the top. I put it in my favorites and will go there once a day.

8. something's goofed up with that poll

the little red indicators under each name of the bottom 4 indicate scores comparable to the senators in the top 10. ted stevens, for instance is ranked number 98 and has just slivers of red next to the 4 criteria, and that seems to make sense, yet McCain, Kerry, Feingold and Lieberman, all have much larger red indicators than Stevens yet are below him in the rankings. Methinks somebody goofed up or perhaps did it on purpose, but clearly something is amiss.

I've been voting on that and keeping track of it for a few months now although I have visited in a few weeks. Last time I checked, Kerry and Feingold were near the top.
