8. I would choose the iPad, for my father.

He has Alzheimer's now and has stopped using his PC, but something like this might be simple and engaging enough for him. He used to do CAD/CAM System consulting to his old company after he retired and they couldn't find anyone with the skills to replace him.

And Father's Day is coming up.

21. I bought one for my parents.

My dad loves it. He just asked my mom how to pull up his stock account. Lol.

I tried to show him how to use the computer but it was too complicated as each different situation had a different problem. Now he pushes one icon and he is good to go. Yay.

In fact he keeps asking me why it only works at our house while my iPhone works everywhere. That 3g ipad sure does look good.

more and more I am having to read on the computer so I can enlarge the print. I am using a PC, but with a large flatscreen monitor, but having this thing at my desk ties me down.
