Good Grief, I do believe that the queen can't stand the Dickster

The queen addressed the state's General Assembly, praising Virginia for its social changes since her 1957 visit. Then, the 350th anniversary of Jamestown was an all-white affair and the state was in open defiance of a 1954 Supreme Court order to desegregate public schools.



Watkins is a volunteer on one of the ships at the Jamestown settlement, which includes replicas of the historic structures as well as an archaeological museum.



Watkins estimated that thousands of people showed up to see the Queen. She was escorted on her tour by Vice President Dick Cheney.



Queen Elizabeth II meets students and alumni from William & Mary, again escorted by Nichol. According to the school's Web site, the queen was made an honorary member of the class of 2007 during her visit.

I have to say, I love her outfits. Nice that she got to see the Kentucky Derby, but how sad that she has to put up with Dick and Dubya now. Bet she can't wait to get back home.
